kidney disease is generally asymptomatic so many patients who come to the doctor too late or entering the stage of End Stage Renal failure (GGTA). When already like this, the doctor will usually suggest to have a kidney transplant.
As quoted Hopkinsmedicine, kidney transplantation is a surgical procedure to replace a diseased kidney with a healthy kidney from a donor. The kidney may come from organs of a deceased person, either from the family or anyone else
who fits one of his kidneys.
Usually a person can survive with just one kidney transplant. In rare cases, some are getting two healthy kidneys.
Experts say, some kidney conditions that may require transplantation such as:

- Polycystic kidney disease or other congenital abnormalities
- Glomerulonephritis, which is an inflammation of the filtering units of the kidney
- Hemolytic uremic syndrome, a rare disorder that causes kidney failure
- Lupus and other diseases of the immune system
- Other conditions, such as congenital defects in the kidney that requires a kidney transplant
