This study was conducted by researchers from the University of South Australia, using data from the Maine-Syracuse Longitudinal Study (MSLS). The study involved about 1,000 people over 30 years.
Various indicators were observed, including analyzing the impact of chocolate consumption on memory and concentration skills, reasoning and information processing.
It was found that respondents who ate chocolate at least once a week had a better examination results in all these indicators, compared with those who did not eat chocolate at all.
"Flavanol in chocolate and cocoa have often touted beneficial to heart health.
