Fight Cancer Therapy with food Still Controversial

The treatment of cancer with chemotherapy, therapy and so far very effective, but many do not like the side effects. Other cancer experts to develop dietary therapy, which is recognized by a patient potent but still controversial.

This diet therapy developed Prof. Kang Jingxuan, a cancer specialist at Harvard University. Professor of Chinese descent living in the United States have been nominated for a Nobel laureate in medicine in 2006, for his efforts to develop a mammal that can produce omega 3 fatty acids.

Diets that are run much like the so-called 'anti-inflammatory diet', which involves essential fatty acid supplement of omega-3 in large quantities. The fatty acids found in many fish oil contains various anti-inflammatory or anticancer compounds.

In general, these diets contain very little omega-6 fatty acids, low in sugar, low in animal fats, low in bad fats, low in processed foods and rich in antioxidants from vegetables and fruits. Antioxidants are also found in many types of fiber, beans and wheat.

According to Kang, eat mostly omega-6 fatty acids and less omega-3 fatty acids are a common cause of many health problems. The problems were quite diverse,
ranging from cancer to heart disease.

Naturally, the body does not produce omega 3 and omega 6. Omega 6 is found in almost all kinds of processed food, while the omega 3 fatty acid most commonly found in fish oils.

Both types of these essential fatty acids needed in the formation of hormones. Omega 6 stimulate inflammation or inflammation, whereas omega-3 inhibits the inception of the inflammation often associated with cancer risk.

"Chemotherapy and radiation are effective, but nature does not discriminate between cancer cells in the surrounding tissue can be very detrimental," said Kang, as quoted from Shanghaidaily.

For all types of cancer, Kang does not discriminate between types of diet. He tried to apply the principles of commonality, the same diet to produce the same effectiveness in all types of cancer.

This approach is basically the same as traditional Chinese medicine, which strengthens the flow of energy or qi qi healthy and unhealthy issued. However akliran energy being targeted by Kang is not public, but specifically on the cellular level.

Although some patients recognize the benefits, another cancer expert opinions still vary. Dr Lu Shun from the Shanghai Chest Hospital including those that do not agree, because there is no scientific evidence that is strong enough to ensure its efficacy.

"I know there are some successful tests on animals, but there is no strong evidence so far regarding its effectiveness in humans. What is efficacious in animals are not always effective when applied to humans," said Dr. Lu.
