Cyanide poison contained in cassava, why not make Poisoning?

Some plants also produce toxic cyanide, cassava one of them. Why does not anybody ever poisoning when eating cassava?

In nature, menghasilan cassava cyanide in the form of compounds called cyanogenic glycosides linimarin. Cyanogenic glycosides compounds are relatively nontoxic, but the enzymatic process that occurs in the human body can be collapsed it into hydrogen cyanide, one of the most poisonous cyanide.

Fortunately, not all varieties of cassava cyanide compounds produced in large quantities. Varieties of cassava are usually consumed daily generally produce cyanide in very small amounts, and the levels are diminishing with the correct processing.

"If the cyanide into the body is still a small amount of cyanide will then be converted into a safer thiocyanate and excreted from the body,
Impact fatal if cyanide into the body in larger doses. These toxins would inhibit the action of cytochrome-x-oxidase, the enzyme in mitochondria that function binds oxygen to meet the respiratory needs of the body's cells. If it does not work because the enzyme is inhibited from cyanide poisoning, the body's cells will die.

"Cyanide poisoning berfakibat bad on the cardiovascular system, including increased vascular resistance and blood pressure in the brain, respiratory system and central nervous system. The endocrine system is usually disrupted in chronic cyanide poisoning
