Most Eat Junk Food, Colon Cancer Risks Lurk

Got a savory taste, I wonder if junk food is still a favorite food most people. But be careful, if taken too often and excessive intake can lead to colon cancer risk.

As presented by researchers from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, that eating too many fatty foods can increase the risk of colon cancer. The reason, this habit makes cells in the gut mutated.

"High-fat diet changed the biology of stem cells in the intestine and modify non-stem cells that eventually leads to tumor formation," says biologist Omer Yilmaz, as quoted by the Daily Mail,

Other biologists, Prof. David Sabatini, adding the results of previous studies also found that obesity obesity alias added risk of colorectal cancer in a person. While we know, junk food consumption in the long term is also closely associated with obesity.

In fact, most eating junk food also makes you lazy to move. Even more surprising, this effect will persist even if you're back on a healthy diet.

Researchers from the University of Los Angeles observations of the two groups of mice for six months. One group was given a natural food such as corn and other groups are given processed foods rich in sugar and almost no nutrition.

The second group had a weight gain that is higher than the first group. But researchers also found that those who eat processed foods are becoming more lazy, reluctant to move and headaches.
