It's that Make Women More Invulnerability of Heart Disease

During heart disease synonymous with men and rarely experienced by women. Now researchers have found a reason that makes women more immune to heart disease. What is that?

Researchers from Queen Mary, University of London revealed that hormone estrogen may help protect women from heart disease by keeping the immune system.

hormone estrogen in women will work in white blood cells to prevent plaques attached to the blood vessels, thus avoiding a dangerous blockage.

This new study shows that women have a protein annexin-A1 is higher on the surface of white blood cells. These proteins and estrogen levels are strongly linked throughout the menstrual
cycle.

Estrogen helps move annexin-A1 from the surface into the white blood cells that prevent plaque against the walls of blood vessels that can cause damage to the vascular (blood vessel).

"From the beginning we knew that estrogen could protect women of pre-menopausal women from heart disease, and this results memjadi instructions on how such protection occurs," said Dr Suchita Nadkarni from the William Harvey Research Institute, Queen Mary, University of London, as quoted from ScienceDaily ,

Estrogen helps maintain the balance between fighting infections and protecting arteries from damage that leads to cardiovascular disease. The results of this study help explain why cardiovascular disease tend to be higher in men than women.

"In addition, understanding how the body fights heart disease naturally becomes very important for developing new treatments," said Dr. Nadkarni.

Even so every woman we must maintain healthy lifestyle, because when it entered menopause future risk of heart disease equal to men due sudha declining estrogen levels in the body.
