A minimum of nine hours sleep every day Can Fight Fat Genes Cause

For people who do have the genes that cause fat, diet and exercise alone are sometimes not successful weight control. Also required adequate rest, not only 7 hours each day but at least 9 hours per day.

A study of 1,088 pairs of twins showed that the longer the time spent on sleep then the influence of genetic factors on body weight decreasing. This means that although the gene has a fat, the body can still be thin enough sleep origin.

But bedtime is said to be quite a bit different from that suggested so far is 7 -8 hours a day. According to this study, the sleep time is considered sufficient to counter the influence of genes that cause fat is at least 9 hours in a day.

This research was conducted by experts from the University of Washington, involving 1,088 pairs of twins who are considered to have a high genetic similarity. The results of this study have been published in the journal Sleep, published recently.

Previously, experiments have shown that some of the genes in the human body greatly affect body weight. These genes affect energy metabolism, the process of accumulation and burning fat into energy, and the settings hunger signals.

"The results of this study indicate that short sleep time makes stronger environmental influences on the expression of genes related to obesity," said Dr. Nathaniel Watson, who led the study, as quoted by the Telegraph,

Although it is recognized that the results of this study is still too early to conclude, Dr. Watson believes that adequate rest will greatly affect the success of the diet.

The more sleep, the influence of the genes that cause the less fat diet becomes more effective.
