AS - Diagnosed with a rare brain cancer since the age of four months, Ellie Walton had to fight to live. At the age of just turned three years now, he has undergone 17 surgeries and five tumor removal.

Getting bored and tired mentally to undergo a series of treatments is quite heavy, the family found a unique way to restore the spirit of life Ellie. This method is by using postcards.

The reason, the first time Ellie get a postcard from her grandparents in Arizona, he seemed very happy and excited to undergo treatment at the hospital.

Realizing this, the mother, Sarah,
then wrote on his Facebook account on condition Ellie. He asked the people who read the message, send a postcard to her baby.

"Sure enough, it all happened exceeded my expectations. More than 500 postcards come to our house. From all US states, up from Germany and South Korea. Ellie is very happy," Sarah said, as quoted by ABC News.

Ellie was diagnosed with Glioblastoma multiforme (GBM), characterized by a brain tumor that grows quickly. Radiation and chemotherapy are often used to slow the growth of tumors, but unfortunately the operation does not necessarily cure the disease completely. Depending on the size and location of the tumor, respectively pediatric patients may experience symptoms differently.

This condition makes Ellie could not leave his house, for the treatment of cancer that he lived mostly, weakens the immune system. Therefore, received hundreds of postcards made him happy because they can 'see' the outside world.

"The cards were pinned by her sister, Ava, around the walls of the house so that Ellie could go see him. I am grateful to those who took the time to send this all come to Ellie," said Sarah.
