Healthy bones Can Prevent Obesity


What can make the bones fat? The answer is that it can. Bone health condition can lead to obesity, but with a specific diet that risk can be prevented without sacrificing bone health.

Dr. Oz or Dr. Mehmet Cengiz Oz first appeared on the Oprah Winfrey Show in 2004, and then Larry King Live and other TV programs. In 2009, Dr. Oz finally has an own television program that brings tips on health and beauty titled The Dr. Oz Show.

In the latest episode, Dr. Oz talks about how bones can make fat by showing the inside of the human femur. He also explained that there are parts that are not hollow bones in the body. The hollow part is filled with red bone marrow where red blood cells are produced. Along with the bone marrow, there is deposition of fat on the inside of the bone.

"The fat in the bone issued an important chemical called leptin. There is a relationship between fat in the bones and hunger possessed when the body does not really hungry. Leptin is made by fat cells and released to tell the brain that the body does not need to eat food anymore because fat in the body is
already quite a lot, "said Dr. Oz.

Leptin works like a traffic signal system. When it is in a healthy weight, leptin system gave the green light signal to the body that it's time to eat. If people with a healthy weight just eating, leptin system then gives the signal red light to tell the brain that the body has eaten and does not need food anymore.

When it began to overweight, the body begins to store fat in the abdomen is not only, but also in the bone. Fat deposits in the bone is disrupting the system. Excess fat in the bone send confusing messages to the brain that block leptin signals making it difficult to decide whether actually hungry or not, such as the yellow lights are lit continuously menrus.

However, Dr. Oz also explained that this process can be reversed by simply reducing a few kilograms of weight will cause the brain to respond to leptin signals appropriately.
