White Light on Planet Ceres Suspected Cryovolcanoes phenomenon. NASA discovered a white light at the crater of an alien planet named Ceres. Scientists suspect the appearance of white light that indicates the content of ice or a phenomenon called Cryovolcanoes.
Cryovolcanoes described as a phenomenon that emit volcanic material or water vapor, ammonia, methane, and is not a lava. After the eruption, cryovolcanoes turned into a solid material when exposed at very low temperatures.
Cryovolcanoes phenomena generally appear on a planet or moon low temperature. Cryovolcanoes first appeared on the Moon Triton or natural satellites belonging to Neptune in 1989 by the Voyager 2 spacecraft.
Allegations were no less strong there is ice or salt content of the area of the crater planet Ceres. Reported Dailymail, Friday (24/07/2015), scientists from the United States space agency, Chris Russell said that the findings of the white light that indicates the content of ice on the planet.
Sightings of white light was expected due to ice or salt content which is reflected by the sun. The white light was reportedly seen several times a day. The emergence of light is believed to provide information about the state of the planet's atmosphere.
The discovery of the mysterious object originated from the camera catches Dawn spacecraft NASA. Dawn orbiting planet Ceres since March and found the luminous point on the surface of Ceres.
Unknown origin of the white light. Scientists are still figuring out and trying to prove the allegations, if the light is made of ice, salt, or other material content.
White light that looks like fog is seen above the crater named Occator. The light covers half of the entire crater and spread to the edges of the crater.
Currently the Dawn spacecraft with an infrared spectrometer technology has not been able to learn the details of white light visible in the crater planet Ceres. Dawn found that Ceres has a smaller size than expected, which made it difficult to examine more deeply the origin of the white patches.
