World's First Robot Being Cast Film


Tokyo - A Japanese film director making a movie robot. However, this is not the story of a battle between robots created by visual effects such as Transformers-- but to make a real robot as an actor in the film.

Quoted by the Daily Mail, the movie Sayonara has a background of life after the nuclear disaster in Japan. A robot named Geminoid F, designed with form and gestures like a human - with rubber skin and facial likeness of a woman. However, throughout the film he is driven by the wheel.

Geminoid F or Leona in the film is considered like an actress by the director. Koji Fukada even include the name of the beautiful android in the cast list in the credits end of the film.

Geminoid F has gestures that truly mimic humans. Professor Ishiguro previously had designed a robot similar to a human - he even made himself in the form of robots. He stated that someday robots will be difficult compared to humans.

Sayonara will be released in Japan on November 21. However, there has been no news regarding the screening outside Japan.
