Air Pollution Kill 5 million people every year

The fact this finding was not surprising. Previous studies have shown pollution outdoors led to the deaths of more than three million deaths each year. If left unchecked could lead to the death toll to six million people in 2050.

Power generation, industry and motor vehicles contribute to air pollution worldwide. While the sources of air pollution in the household such as coal, wood and charcoal for cooking are used population of developing countries.

Air pollution plays a role in causing problems in the lungs that cause premature death. In addition, when pregnant mothers living in areas of high air pollution, children born more likely to develop asthma, even before the age of five.
