At times like now, finding a job is not easy. High standards are set by the company, makes not all applicants can get the job. Application was rejected repeatedly definitely make the applicant disappointed. But you apparently disappointment is nothing compared to this man.
The man in question is a young man named Tom Stephens. Do you know how many times he was applying for a job? Not once or twice, but 950 times. Figure which is fantastic and extraordinary patience possessed Tom.
For five years, he spent his time to apply for a job twice a week. According to his testimony, from 950 letter of application, only 50 times rewarded the company with rejection, 12 dialed interview (but failed), and the rest are ignored.
Actually there are compelling reasons that make Tom did not go get a job. The man who is now 23-year-old suffering from Cerebral Palsy. Something that made the company think repeatedly to enter his name in the list of employees.
But the name of the business never betrayed results. Sure enough, Tom finally got a job at a shopping center in the city of Manchester, England. The reason the company received Tom is not out of pity, but they did want the figure of active youth and unyielding.
Tom Stephens of this story should we learn that rejected the work is not the end of everything. But God only test how impatient we are in the face of temptation. For you who is currently looking for work, keep the spirit and never give up.
