Kingston is a family that inherits a wedding dress of their great grandmother Mary Lowry Warren in 1895 until his granddaughter Abigail lowered in Kingston who ultimately decided to wear it in the happy day.
"When I was young, when she was playing the piano in the house there was a photograph of six brides who wear the same dress in the happy day. So I immediately thought, someday the next guy is me," said Abigail, as reported from
Oddity Central,
Starting from where Abigail began to decide what dress to be wearing on her wedding day.
Before the dress fell into the hands of Abigail, the dress has passed a number of times. Was first worn by her great-grandmother in 1985. Passed the grandson of her great-grandmother in the 1940s to fall into the hands of his mother Leslie Kingston in 1977. It was made into a bride who wears the number 6 the dress.
Over time, the historic dress came into the hands of Abigail. But because it has been consumed for hundreds of years old, the condition of the dress is not in a condition unfit for use. The arms are destroyed, fabric filled with holes, and satin that has been browned with age.
"I think it is not possible .. I would not wear it," said Abigail, as reported from Metro.co.uk,
But we all know that where there's a will there must be a way. Abigal and her mother then decided to bring the dress to a designer named Deborah Lo Presti. Having spent 200 hours restoring the dress, wedding dress Deborah managed to restore it to its former glory a century.
All the effort made was reciprocated. Abigal eventually will wear these clothes in happy day this month.
