In addition, the Long Room is also a major part of the Old Library at Trinity College, Dublin, one of the greatest libraries in Ireland and one of the most impressive in the world.

The sculpture collection is no less impressive this start was made in 1743 by sculptor named Peter Scheemakers.

Other treasures contained in this room is one remaining copy of the incident proclamation of the Republic of Ireland in 1961, the Book of Kells, and a harp oldest of its kind in Ireland (derived from the 15th century).
