Quoted from Michigan Live, the official Department of Natural Resources (Department of Natural Resources, DNR) named Steve Speigl was responding to an emergency call-related traffic accidents.
This incident actually occurred about a month ago, but the story contained
in official reports which opened recently. When responding to a traffic accident in question, it was about 1.6 kilometers from the scene.
Arriving at the place, he saw two cars involved in a collision. The officer then checked if there are victims who need help. He opened the door of one car and saw a woman knitting in the back seat.
Biweekly report DNR wrote this: "The woman, although blood was dripping from his nose, said that knitting to calm him down and he needed it after being involved in an accident."
Fortunately she was not seriously injured and getting treatment on the spot.
