Coffee fans Tend Away From Depression


New York- There is a link between regular consumption of coffee with suicide rates. It turned out that those who like to drink coffee, do suicide risk 53 percent lower than those who did not consume these beverages altogether.

The researchers suspect that the caffeine content of coffee is causing the benefits of this kind. "Caffeine-containing antidepressants, which can increase the benefits of the neurotransmitter dopamine and serotonin in the brain, thus helping avoid depression and even suicide," explained one of the study's authors Professor of Epidemiology and Nutrition at Harvard School of Public Health, Alberto Ascherio.
However, too much caffeine intake per day is also not good, as added Alberto. "To get the benefits of coffee consumption of one to three cups per day is enough," he explained.
