Similar Planet Earth Found, estimated There is Life?

CALIFORNIA - search Spacecraft Earth-like planets, Kepler, returned to find exo-planets that have physical characteristics similar to Earth. The planet was named Kepler-62F and very much resemblance to the Earth, one of which is covered by water.

The planet was found not far from the exo-planet Kepler-62E. But the difference in this new planet very similar to Earth and the possibility of human life. The planet orbits the star at a distance that is very fitting to be inhabited by life. The distance as the distance of Earth to the sun so that the temperature of the planet is at a temperature which is normal for the presence of water.

As reported Space, Sunday (05/01/2014), the right combination of distance stars to planets that have water on its surface a number of Kepler-62F makes it an ideal place to develop life in it. That in turn, could be the possibility of human life after the Earth did not exist. But the researchers say, if there is any life on the planet can be confirmed as a different kind of life as to what we usually see on Earth.

The reason, the exoplanet orbiting a star that is smaller and dimmer than the sun. Kepler-62F is located at a distance of 1,200 light years from planet Earth, and an estimated 1.4 times bigger than our planet. While the neighbor, Kepler-62E sized 1.6 times larger than Earth. "There can be no life, but what life there own technology as we now? Life on this planet is also expected to be difficult to find materials such as metals, electricity, or fire for metallurgy," said researcher Lisa Kaltenegger.

"Nevertheless, I think the world would be as beautiful as the blue planet orbiting the star orange. That maybe there is life there with a technology that probably will surprise us," Kaltenegger continue.

Based on data from the Kepler telescope, Kepler-62F exoplanet orbiting its star during the 267 days. Which when compared to Earth's solar orbit for 365 days differs only approximately 100 days. The exoplanet position with its star could be analogous position of Venus to the sun.
