Gold discovery of 2,000 year-old Ancient Tomb

This is a shocking moment for the team of archaeologists, excavating the royal tomb of the Marquis Haihun ruling Western Han Dynasty (206 BC-24 AD) ruling. They found a large amount of gold, which is expected to be obtained during the period of his rule.

The cemetery consists of eight tombs and burial site of the train, and have been studied for the past five years. And a team of archaeologists has found Wuzhu bronze coins, jade and thousands of bars of gold, bronze and other precious metals.

It is estimated, the main tomb is located in Jiangxi, a province of eastern China where archaeologists are still digging at Christmas. The tomb thought to belong to Liu He, who was a grandson of Emperor Wu.

The discovery of precious metals is also very diverse, such as the form of ingots nail, jade pendants, horse-drawn carriage, board games and 2,000 year old bronze lamp.

Since excavations began in 2011, more than 10,000 kinds of goods have been found in these tombs, and 110 of them have been exhibited at the Museum of Jiangxi Province, Nanchang.
