Alexander Kenney, 2 years old, somehow playing into the dam area not far from his home in Coffs Harbour, New South Wales, Australia, on 9 September. Kenney family dog, Leala, then go find Alexander at the dam.
As reported Dailymail, reported that Leala later found the boy was floating facedown in the dam. 9-year-old dog was then entered into the water and pulled Alexander out of a dam. Leala then ran home to see father Alexander.
In soaking wet, the dog was seen frantically trying to get the attention of their owners. Mr. Kenney eventually followed Leala to the dam and found his son in a fainting condition there. Alexander was rushed to hospital in Brisbane.
Alexander was flown to Lady Cilento Brisbane Hospital where he was declared in a state of coma. He was in intensive care for 36 hours. Doctors worry that the child will suffer brain damage as a result of the incident. But two days later, Alexander passed the critical period and he was fine.
