During this 55 Cancri e is known as the planet of aliens or alien planets. There are some who suspect that such cosmic objects composed of diamonds, other opinion calling its surface covered by lava.
55 Cancri e is one of the first foreign planet investigated in sufficient detail. Outer space objects are also grouped into super-Earth - a planet outside the Milky Way galaxy that has a size larger than Earth and smaller than Neptune.
As quoted by News.com.au on to ensure the detail of the rocky planets, international team of astronomers led by the University of Cambridge studied the data captured by the Spitzer Space Telescope NASA. It aims to deepen the knowledge of 55 Cancri-e within 40 light years from Earth.
Planet orbiting a Sun-like object in the constellation Cancer was investigated for several times the orbit, in which one time takes 18 hours.
55 Cancri e has a tidal area constantly, which means most of the surface is always facing the star. The area covered by molten lava with a temperature of 2,400 degrees Celsius.
Meanwhile, other surfaces are solid and has a temperature of 1,100 degrees Celsius.
According to astronomers, what they find in the alien planet touched quite strange. The planet is supposed to have no heat to it.
Researchers also found a bright line around the meeting point between the two sides of the closed surface of molten lava, called the light side, with dense, dubbed dark side.
Astronomers suspect it was caused by lava flows fast enough. One of them said, "Maybe this shift indicates some degree of re-circulation of heat is limited on the bright side or more shows surface features with a very high temperature, like a lava flow."
The data is suspect some possibility of the dark side of the planet with a solid surface.
"The bright side is likely to have a river of lava and magma pools with very hot. We suspect to the dark side, has a solid surface which is formed of lava flows, such as in Hawaii," said Michael Gillon of the University of Liège, Belgium.

"The way we see the planet continues to change," said Brice Olivier Demory of the University of England.
He also added, "The latest findings have a hot night and day hotter. This suggests that the planet does not conduct heat efficiently. We think that this can be explained from the atmosphere that is only found on the bright side of the planet, or from lava flowing on the surface of the planet . "
The study was published in the scientific journal, Nature, which shows how astronomers use infrared rays to map the surface 55 Cancri-e rocky.
"By understanding the characteristics of the instrument and using a calibration technique is different, we try to maximize every possible new science demonstrated from detectors that are not designed for observation with high precision," said one staff Spitzer Space Science Center NASA, Jessica Krick, in California Institute of Technology, Pasadena.
