Sellia, a small town that is included in the province of Catanzaro, Italy, has a population that is unique characteristics. Sixty per cent of the total 500 of these villagers have been elderly. So that the population is not the less, the local government imposed a rule prohibited ill.
The regulation in fact contain an effort to encourage citizens to undergo routine medical examination at the health care center nearby. Residents who have proven medical examination
will dibebabaskan of health tax of 10 euros. This rule was signed by the mayor of Sellia, David Zicchinella, last week.
Since berembusnya news these regulations, the latest health center which opened last month is already crowded. About 100 residents to make an appointment to undergo examination to ensure their excellent condition.

Previously, in 1960, the city has a population of approximately 1,300 people and is now only about 537 residents. This means that there are 6 of 10 Sellia citizens over the age of 65 years.
What happens in Sellia actually just one of the other small towns in Italy at risk population is dwindling. Italy is a country with many elderly people in it. About 20 percent of the population aged 65 years.
