Yokohama - Been to Ramen Museum in Yokohama, traveler seemed to be taken back to Japan in the 1950s. A traveler can get to know the history of ramen with nostalgic décor.
For me and dozens of tourists who visit to Shin-Yokohama Ramen Museum, we really made tremendous shock. Because conditions are so contrasting. Since the sign on the main door that looks normal, but changed so down to the basement two and three.
On the floor of the main door and we only see a stretch of souvenir shops in general. Including a number of display boards, ticket counters and multimedia messages talked about Ramen Museum which was founded 22 years ago.
Different 360 degrees when the
feet hit the floor basement, where direct eye exposure to the sights of old school 1950s. There is a narrow hallway with fading paint.
Gang connects one store to another store, the coffee shop with another one. In the corner of the alley there is a public phone box is made complete with the old school. Success provoke us to take pictures in it.
On the basement floor two and three museums located in downtown Yokohama, we were taken to the past. Precisely in the 50s with the setting place in Tokyo and Yokohama.
It also appears that the original vintage gear and much like the original, including power poles and public telephones as in the old school movie set. Exciting!
"The design is specially made to get different perceptions see cities Japanese metropolis. In order to relax the eye," says Oka, tour leader who drove us during a visit to the Ramen Museum, Yokohama last week.
After walking around on the second floor and take pictures in a unique spot, we go down to the third floor Ramen Museum. The place is a kind of a foodcourt with a spacious area in the middle and surrounded by food outlets, shops and cafes in the main menu of ramen.
