United Nations (UN), the World Bank and the World Health Organization named Singapore become the healthiest nation in the world.
According to the page Independent, ratings are given based on the value of the risk of disease, how to maintain health, and other factors such as life expectancy at birth, cause of death and the factors that can hinder health such as young people who smoke, people who have cholesterol and awareness vaccines or immunization.
On that basis, Singapore has an overall score of 89.45 percent, well ahead of Italy with 89.07 percent, and Australia with 88.33 percent.
On the other hand, the UN noted a number of countries the level of health awareness is still lacking such as Cameroon, Uganda and other African countries that dominate.
"This data is a useful guide for policy makers," wrote the World
Economic Forum.
Healthy word, synonymous with quality of life, not just life expectancy. So in fact, this can be achieved even in low-income countries that report higher levels of life satisfaction.
Interestingly, this study revealed a trend of increasing consumption of healthy foods, such as fruits and vegetables. But unfortunately, this is followed by a rise in consumption of junk food
