3 Facts Strange disappearance of Ships and aircraft in the Bermuda Triangle

The Bermuda Triangle is an imaginary area that connects the three points, namely Florida, Puerto Rico and the island of Bermuda. In total, the area has an area of 4 million square kilometers.

The area is closely related to the loss of the ship or plane mysteriously. One of them was a squadron contains five US Navy aircraft that disappeared without a trace in 1945.

The number of cases of loss of aircraft and ships in the Bermuda triangle, causing a lot of speculation. The phenomenon is discussed using the popular theory, science fiction, to be associated with supernatural events.

But according to the Aviation Safety Network and the US Coast Guard (USCG), the phenomenon of loss of ships and aircraft can be attributed to the storm or the condition of the vehicle unsafe.

On the website of the USCG, there is often the question "Is the Bermuda Triangle really exist?". In response, they replied, "In the event of loss of aircraft and ships over the years, there were no other reasons than physical causes."

In other words, the processes in the sea that occurs normally and errors of human beings are the cause of the possibility of such Fenoma.

As quoted from Live Science, Tuesday (22/03/2016), here are some possible causes for the loss of ships and planes in the Bermuda Triangle:

Loss Theory US Navy Aircraft

According to the National Ocean Service, 70 percent of the earth's surface consists of ocean, with an average depth of 3,700 meters to most in the 11,000 meters. Sea contains about 1,338 cubic kilometers of water, so it is not surprising that the ships and aircraft can disappear and leave no trace.

Pads 1964 a journalist, Vincent Gaddis, dub sea in the southeast US Atlantic coast by the name of 'the Bermuda Triangle'. Gaddis gave the title to an article about the disappearance of a US Navy plane, Flight 19, under mysterious circumstances in 1945.

Other US Navy aircraft with 13 crew intended to search for Flight 19 also disappeared. This was reported by the United States Navy veteran, Howard L. Rosenberg, who wrote about the Bermuda Triangle in an article for the Naval History and Heritage Command (NHHC).

He said that Flight 19 lost and ended up losing the possibility of fuel. If it falls, the plane will be damaged and sunk, and the ocean water was too cold to make the crew could not survive.

Rescue plane deployed for the iron bird is PBM, with the nickname "flying gas tank" because of the type of combustible. Rosenberg said it was likely they had an accident that makes the plane caught fire.

"Areas Triangle (Bermuda) became one of the most frequently traveled in the world. The greater the number
of boats and planes that pass, the greater the chance of something happening," writes Rosenberg.

Hurricane Causes Loss of Ships and Aircraft

Tropical storms and hurricanes are common in the area. According to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), it explains why there are many reports of loss of aircraft and ships for many years in the Bermuda Triangle.

In the past, ships that traverse the area more vulnerable to sudden weather changes compared with the ship in the present. Based on NOAA officials, it is because at the time of this mode of transport is equipped with more accurate weather forecasts.

A brief but fierce storm called meso-Meteorological storm, also can appear suddenly. According Rosernberg, It can disrupt communications and cause a wave of large ships.

Based on NOAA, many islands in the Caribbean Sea which led into a shallow sea can also cause problems for large ships. Heavy current can easily destroy the ship and eliminate it.

"The ocean has always been a mysterious place for humans, and when the bad weather and navigation merge, it can be deadly," wrote NOOA.

"There is no evidence that there are other areas that are more cut off ships and planes mysteriously than the Bermuda Triangle, because the area is most often crossed," he added.

Methane

In 2015, the study issued a 'collection' crater in the Barents Sea off the coast of Norway. The researchers showed that the crater was probably caused by methane gas explosions.

Some media connect it with the Bermuda Triangle. It can create huge explosions of methane gas that creates the holes and form gas bubbles and will quickly sink the ship.

However, according to a geophysicist and chief geologist Gas Hydrates Project, Carolyn Ruppel, explaining it is so impossible.

"We know that the methane gas emanating from the seabed was quite extensive," said Ruppel told Live Science. While marine gas leaks are common, but large-scale gas explosions that might occur during the Ice Age has never been recorded.

Gas hydrate would not explode unless there is extreme pressure as a result of a dramatic climate change. It also only happens on a fairly shallow waters where gas hydrate is affected by changes in water temperature, such as in the Barents Sea where the crater was found.

In fact, methane gas leaking from the ocean can occur because it is processed by microbes become much carbon dioxide before it reaches the surface.
