Launched in whenonearth.net, a village named Hobbiton contained in New Zealand, won the hearts of thousands of local and foreign tourists. Because the village is built really resemble the Hobbit village, a character created by writer J.R.R Tolkien. Well, like what ya like?
The hills are green landscape with houses underneath. Not only that, the village is also equipped with a bridge, pub and a tree house to hang out. In fact, there is a cafe called The Shire serving beef, chicken, and roast mutton for dinner. Yummy!
Initially, this place is the site of Alexander family farm. In 1999, Sir Peter Jackson looking for a location for the filming of The Lord of the Rings. With the help of the entire production team, the farm was dismantled in such a way into a magnificent movie set in accordance with the desire of filmmakers.
