The discovery of 6 Statue of Ancient Egypt 3,500 Year-Old


                                                                                                                                                                   Six Ancient Egyptian statue depicting a man named Neferkare and his family have been found at Gebel el Silsila site near the River Nile. Six statues 3,500 years old have been found in two Cenotaphs "Fake Grave" where there are blocks of sandstone used to build temples in Egypt.
In this fake cemetery there is a statue of a man and his wife were seated side by side, the Statue of Nefertiti, Head Medjay and supervisors ground during the reign of Pharaoh Thutmose II and his family also participated in it.

Cenotaphs is a temple or a warning to those who have died but his body was somewhere else.


These statues buried in the ground as a result of earthquakes and landslides on the cliff at the antiquity to the flood that covered the site until archaeologists found it again in December 2015 ago.


These statues are still in good condition with the best preservative. John Ward, deputy head of the excavation team said "The ears are large with round cheeks hinted individual characteristics of the person".

The archaeologists are not sure why certain families choose to build cenopaths or temple at Gebel el Silsila which is also the site of a large sandstone quarry to make buildings and temples in Egypt for centuries.


Now researchers are working to clean up and translate carvings found around cenotaphs flanking partner this Ancient Egyptian statue.
