But now the Titanic will set sail again. A wealthy businessman and politician from Australia, Clive Palmer, has sparked the idea of making a replica of the Titanic. Titanic II will reportedly be ready to sail in the year 2018.
Clive is the owner of the shipping company Blue Star Line that has been established since 1911. The company is then building and will support the voyage of the Titanic II. Titanic II is said to have incredible detail similar to the Titanic which sank in 1912.

Same as the original Titanic, Titanic II has three cabins, the first class cabin, second and third class. There are the dining room, luxurious staircase, smoking room, Café Parisien and Marconi Room, which are all designed with detail that is similar to the original.

But unlike the Titanic, Titanic II has a number of advanced technologies such as robot bartender and a helipad on the aft deck. The vessel is also equipped with a small swimming pool, a Turkish bath and gym. And unlike the Titanic which have little lifeboat, Titanic II is equipped with enough lifeboats to accommodate all passengers.

As reported Dailymail, February 10, 2016, Titanic II will be 13ft wider than the original ship, but its length (885ft), high (174ft) and weight (40,000 tonnes) will be similar and will also have nine decks. The new ship will have 840 cabins in three classes with a capacity of 2,435 passengers and 900 crew.

Clive has revealed this project since 2012. Previously the ship was set to sail in 2016. In 2015, the project reportedly has been abandoned due to a failed construction. But in September, a spokesman Clive announced that the launch would be delayed until 2018.

Titanic II's maiden voyage is scheduled to sail from Jiangsu, China, to Dubai. It is not yet known how the estimated costs incurred by prospective passengers need to be able to enjoy the trip by boat.
